Dr. Jochen Rentsch received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Freiburg in 2005, with the topic "Dry production technologies for c-Si PV". For the last 20 years, Dr. Jochen Rentsch has been working at Fraunhofer ISE, where currently he is heading the Department Production Technology - Surfaces and Interface. His research focus is on the field of production technologies for crystalline silicon solar cells with a particular focus on wet-and plasma technology and passivated industrial solar cell structures. Jochen Rentsch is the author of over 80 publications in the field of crystalline silicon PV.
