Exactly one week ago, on 24 September 2021, many places around the globe hosted big climate strikes in the light of Fridays for Future. On the same day, more than 400 strikes took place Germany-wide.

Some of our team members were also there to represent the Solar Energy Engineering department and themselves as individuals who want to live in a better future where human greed would not have destroyed the planet and politicians took this existential threat seriously.

The timing of the big strike was also crucial: it took place only two days before the pivotal federal elections in Germany. The strike took place with required hygiene rules and Covid-19 precautions.
